Introduction
Homeschooling can be very rewarding. Homeschooling a dyslexic child can bring even greater rewards!
I have over ten years of experience homeschooling. My second child is dyslexic, and it took me too long to figure out what dyslexia was, what to do, and what not to do! I've created this part of my web site to offer Moms (and Dads!) the info you need so you can make educated choices and not waste precious time listening to bad advice or spending money on curriculum that wasn't designed for your dyslexic child. I also want to offer lots of encouragement because we all know while some days can be wonderful, others can be discouraging!
Customized Tutoring for Homeschoolers
By the way, if you live in North Alabama, my dyslexia tutoring service is perfect for homeschoolers! You can schedule a time slot with me in the morning or early afternoon (normally 2 days per week) and I offer special daytime homeschool tutoring rates! The beauty of homeschooling is that you can also spend a few minutes each day reinforcing certain skills at home, which will allow your child to make even faster progress.
